DELINQUENT REAL ESTATE TAX NOTICE As prescribed by section 5721.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, I hereby give notice of the forthcoming publication in this newspaper of the Delinquent Tax List of Real Property in Highland County unpaid as of December 31st, 2024 with the second publication being available one week after the newspaper publication on our website for two weeks at www.highlandcountyauditor.org . Please be advised that interest accrues on outstanding taxes effective December 1, 2024. Any real estate taxes remaining delinquent after the second publication shall be subject to foreclosure and forfeiture proceedings as provided in ORC 5721.14, tax certificate sale under ORC 5721.32 or 5721.33, or assignment to a county land reutilization corporation. Taxpayers may enter into a written contract with the County Treasurer to pay Delinquent Taxes. No interest would accrue during the time that a valid contract is in force. The Highland County Treasurer’s Office is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday to accept payments on Delinquent Taxes.
