LEGAL NOTICE The Board of County Commissioners of Highland County, Ohio, seeks Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide engineering services and any construction management thereafter for the construction of a communication tower for the purpose of housing equipment provided by the State of Ohio for their MARCS radio communication in the Butters Road area. Statements of Qualifications will be accepted from interested firms until 8:30 a.m., local time, on Wednesday, September 10th by dropping off or mailing to: Highland County Commissioners, 119 Governor Foraker Place, Suite 211, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. Any SOQ not received at or before this deadline will be disqualified. This legal notice is posted on the Board's website and may be viewed at the following address: https://co.highland.oh.us/public-notices.html . Copies of the full Statements of Qualifications are available at the Board's office, located at 119 Governor Foraker Place, Suite 211, Hillsboro, OH 45133. Copies may also be obtained electronically by emailing Ashleigh Willey, Clerk, at awilley@co.highland.oh.us. Interested firms are responsible for ensuring that emails are successfully sent and received. Interested firms must submit Statements of Qualifications in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Qualifications. All firms that submit SOQs shall submit one (1) original and three (3) copies of their SOQ in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked: SOQ for Engineering/Construction Management for Butters Road Communication Tower. The outside of the sealed envelope shall also include the name and address of the firm. If a Statements of Qualifications is submitted by mail, the sealed envelope containing the SOQ must be enclosed in an outer envelope addressed to the Board and designated as a SOQ for the project. Responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in accordance with Section 153.71 of the Ohio Revised Code, all other relevant provisions contained in Sections 153.65 to 153.73 of the Ohio Revised Code, and all relevant provisions contained in the Request for Qualifications. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any and all defects, and to enter into contract(s) with the responding firm(s) that submit(s) the Statement(s) of Qualifications deemed most beneficial to Highland County.
